Toughness is where ELEGOO RAPID PLA+ earns its keep. High flexural modulus and good elongation at break mean parts bend before they crack, and they deform less than ordinary PLA under load.

Good cooling plus strong layer bonding handles overhangs and bridges without sagging, and you'll notice fewer visible layer lines once the print comes off the bed.

Tolerance and winding details:

• ±0.02mm roundness with a strict 1.75mm diameter tolerance and +/- 0.02mm accuracy, giving consistent outflow
• Mechanically wound, sub-wound and hand-checked so the strands sit tidy on the reel — fewer crossed turns, fewer snaps
• Vacuum sealed with desiccant after drying, keeping moisture and dust away from the filament
• Cardboard spools, sturdy and simple to swap
