The ELEGOO Neptune 4 Plus is an FDM 3D printer built around a 320x320x385mm³ (12.59x12.59x15.15 inch) build area. Speeds go up to 500mm/s, and a 300℃ high-temp nozzle is fed by the dual-gear direct extruder.
- Klipper firmware, pre-installed: Input shaping and pressure advance both work from the start, which allows speeds up to 500mm/s (250mm/s default) without quality dropping off. Resonance compensation is calibrated automatically by acceleration sensors on the X and Y axes, keeping vibration low and precision high.
- Large build volume: A 320x320x385mm³/12.59x12.59x15.15 inch work area takes bigger models, or several small parts in one print, and leaves your options open.
- Dual-gear direct extruder: The 5.2:1 reduction ratio feeds filament smoothly and precisely. Because the full titanium alloy throat pipe sheds heat quickly, nozzle clogs happen less often and results stay consistent.
- 300°C High-Temp Nozzle: The 300°C nozzle kit pairs an extended hot end with a 60W ceramic heating element and a brass heating block; nylon is one of the filaments it can handle. PID parameters self-calibrate to hold temperature steady.
- Auto bed leveling and a manual trim: A 121 (11x11) point auto bed leveling system maps the bed for you. Hand-twist knobs let you adjust it further by hand, so the first layer sticks cleanly.
- Efficient cooling system: Inside the print head sit 2x4015 thickened double-sided cooling fans and a 3010 ball-bearing blower fan, spreading heat dissipation in every direction to fight warping and deformation. Two 2x6025 ball-bearing blower fans behind the head cool fresh layers even faster.
