Dual-Gear Direct Extruder Two gears made of SUS303 stainless steel push the filament, and the extrusion force is adjustable to suit the material. A 3:1 reduction ratio keeps feeding smooth and printing accurate, while nozzle clogs and gear jumps get noticeably rarer. PLA, PETG, ABS and flexible filaments such as TPU are all fair game.

Massive Print Volume The build volume of 420x420x500 mm /16.53x16.53x19.68 inches is the largest in the range, and ELEGOO Neptune 3 Max puts all of it to work on big single-piece models or full plates of smaller parts.

Auto Bed Leveling + Auxiliary Leveling A non-contact, high-precision sensor scans 63 points across the hotbed and compensates for any unevenness or inconsistency in the platform. Hand-twist knobs under the build platform are there for auxiliary leveling when you want a perfect first layer.

Stable & Quiet Printing Dual lead screws and a dual-motor drive move the Z-axis, and a double tie rod structure stiffens the Z gantry.
An STM 32-bit silent motherboard drives the X/Y/Z/E axes with high-precision stepper motors, which keeps printing noise under 50 dB.

PEI Magnetic Platform A special coating on the spring steel sheet gives solid adhesion and fights warping — bend the sheet slightly and the print lifts away or pops off. The 420W high-power hotbed climbs quickly to 100°C.

Removable Capacitive Touchscreen The 4.3-inch magnetic capacitive screen works handheld or fixed on the base, previews the model as it prints and lets you watch progress, with multi-language switching.
There's also a drawer toolbox in the machine base for the Allen wrench and nozzle accessories.
