A glossy finish, straight off the spool. This silk PLA is built from high-quality PLA, a thermoplastic that melts at a lower temperature and is easy to work with. Low warp and shrinkage, no odor while printing, and that shiny surface people notice on finished parts.
Tight tolerances. Each strand measures 1.75 mm in diameter with a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.02 mm, which translates to smoother, steadier extrusion print after print. You get a 1 kg spool (2.2lbs) per roll.
Wound to feed cleanly. Full mechanical winding plus a strict manual check keeps the line neatly arranged and less prone to tangling, so snaps and line breaks are less likely. The larger spool inner diameter makes feeding easier too.
Dried and sealed. Every spool is dried for 24 hours before packaging, then vacuum sealed with desiccants to keep moisture out. The result is clog-free, bubble-free extrusion with solid layer bonding and good fluidity.
Fits most FDM printers. Thanks to tight manufacturing accuracy and a small +/- 0.02mm tolerance, this filament works with most common 1.75mm FDM 3D printers on the market.
