Three layers, one filter. This composite cartridge stacks primary filter cotton, honeycomb activated carbon and H12 HEPA filtration to trap up to 99% of the particulate smoke and dust that laser engraving or cutting throws off. Cleaner air around the machine, and a safer setup for whoever runs it.
Primary filter cotton sits up front and takes the big stuff — dust, coarser smoke particles, loose debris — so the later layers don't get clogged early. That first pass is what buys the rest of the filter its working life.
Honeycomb activated carbon handles the smell side of things. It adsorbs and neutralizes odors, VOCs and certain chemical pollutants in the fumes, which makes a noticeable difference in a small workroom.
H12 HEPA stage finishes the job. Fine dust and microscopic airborne contaminants get caught here, with a filtration efficiency of 99% down to particles of 0.3 micrometers.
Swapping one out is quick — the filter system comes out for replacement without a fight, so the engraver keeps running at its usual performance. Keep a spare pack on the shelf and you won't lose an afternoon to a saturated cartridge.
