Meet the ELEGOO Neptune 4 Pro, an FDM 3D printer built for speed. Print speeds climb to 500mm/s, and the machine pairs auto bed leveling with a dual-gear direct extruder, a 300℃ high-temp nozzle and an intelligent segmented heatbed. Build volume: 225x225x265mm³ (8.85x8.85x10.43 inch).
No flashing required — Klipper ships pre-installed. A quiet Klipper motherboard runs an ARM 64-bit quad-core processor at 1.5G main frequency, which leaves headroom for prints up to 500mm/s; drop to 250mm/s as the recommended setting. Input shaping and pressure advance both work here, so walls come out smooth instead of ringing. The 8GB RAM keeps a library of models on hand for quick access.
Extrusion is handled by a dual-gear direct drive unit with a 5.2:1 reduction ratio, which keeps the filament feed smooth and even. A copper-titanium bi-metal throat pipe works alongside a dedicated air duct design to pull heat away and cut down on nozzle clogs.
The hotend reaches 300°C, so PLA and PETG aren't the limit — ABS, TPU and high-temperature filaments such as nylon are all on the table. An extended hot end holds temperature steady and melts filament faster, and that faster melt feeds straight into print speed.
Power output is 100W+150W across two heating zones. During slicing, the software reads the model size and switches on the peripheral zone whenever the print runs past the 120mmx120mm center zone. Both partitions also toggle by hand if you'd rather manage the heat yourself, and the PEI magnetic platform surface carries markings to guide you.
Bed leveling runs automatically across 121 (11x11) points, so the first layer stays consistent without you touching a thing. Prefer to fine-tune? Hand-twist knobs under the bed let you nudge the level for the last bit of print quality.
ELEGOO Neptune 4 Pro carries 2 thickened double-sided 4015 ball bearing cooling fans plus 4x4020 ball bearing blower fans mounted behind the print head. Air hits fresh layers from all sides, which helps stop warping when you push the speed up.
